DKC PR's Los Angeles office is seeking interns, for college credit only, to start immediately. We are a multi-discipline and diverse public firm, representing clients in a multitude of fields including music & entertainment, hospitality & travel, consumer brands, fashion, food, events, digital & tech, and more. This specific internship will touch all aspects of those fields.
Ideal candidates possess a serious interest in public relations, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced work environment, and are outgoing, creative, intelligent, independent workers.
Specific responsibilities will be as follows:
• Perform general administrative duties (i.e., photocopy, faxes, paste ups, reporting, press kits and collate materials)
• Update press lists
• Conduct research for clients as requested
• Send out daily news roundups
• Participate in special projects (i.e., assist at events)
• And when ready, Learn PR skills such as press release writing, pitching, story crafting etc.
