Social Media Intern [Fashion - Sneaker Culture]
DV8 Magazine is a fresh and bold publication that dares to veer from the norm. We represent the diversity that exists within cultures focusing on fashion, entertainment, art, and lifestyle topics. DV8 Magazine serves the youth culture and anyone that appreciates the myriad subcultures that make up our American fabric.
Seeking self-starters that dare to veer from the norm, to represent the diversity that exists within sneaker culture.
Individual should be able to:
• Maintain social media presence for various Deviate brands
• Perform continuous enhancements and modifications to social media pages
• Respond promptly to comments
• Collect and share insights and experiences with various departments regarding social media including: blogs, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and others
• Work closely with each department to better understand their goals and objectives and recommend potential social media solutions to fit their needs
• Monitor social media for specific trends and news and make recommendations on how each department can best leverage for their businesses
• Gather content for social media pages including photos and videos
• Provide tracking reports on social media results
Qualifications
• Strong interest/desire to work in social media and the digital space
• Ability to create, compose and edit written materials
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
• Strong technical proficiency in social media platforms
• Has a passion for web culture/pop culture, stays on top of trends
• Very web savvy and computer literate
• Multi-tasking is essential, good with deadlines
• Must be reliable and organized
• Extremely organized and capable of tracking, managing, and resolving issues on multiple projects simultaneously
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wanting to break into new media with room for growth. You will be at the forefront of social media.
Must be available at least 3 days a week. Hours per day & days worked are flexible. |
