Summary:
The Executive Assistant will provide office support to the Senior Vice President of Engineering, as well as to other executives and engineers working on HD Radio technology.
Responsibilities include:
• Office/facility: Ensure the office logistics work smoothly on a day to day basis. This includes ordering supplies, setting up/arranging lunches for meetings, working with building management to resolve facility problems, updating the staff with site-specific issues/announcements, and greeting/assisting onsite guests.
• Travel: Prepare full travel itineraries including booking international travel. File expense reports and act as a point of contact for site visitors who need to travel to the area. Work with other admins across Xperi to coordinate travel to our facility.
• Purchasing: Create/manage/track Purchase Orders for the Somerset team.
• Team activities: Assist in program management activities for the teams. Manage the time tracking system and generate reports. Assist budget managers with team budgets. Assist teams with creating documentation, presentations and reports.
• Office events: Set up social events for the staff on an approximately monthly basis, in coordination with corporate HR and site exec.

Qualifications include:
• Minimum 6 years of work experience in an office environment with the interest in working in a dynamic Research & Development/high technology environment.
• Administrative professional certificate or college degree a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with strong working knowledge of Excel and the desire to learn new software. Experience with Concur, eRequester and time-tracking software a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• A problem-solver with strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with team members at all levels.
