WMAL/Washington DC - a Cumulus Media station - seeks a NewsTalk Morning Co-Host. The successful candidate will co-anchor the morning show, which is a Washington-focused mix of Breaking News, politics, local news, and watercooler stories. You will be able to recognize the big stories of the day, to tell them effectively using audio, and to interact with expert guests and callers. Ours is an intelligent, plugged-in, and opinionated audience. You will need to be able to hold your own in passionate debate.
We are looking for someone with on-air experience, a strong social media profile, and ability to learn and adapt to coaching on presentation execution and PPM tactics.
This is the political capital of the world, but it's also our listeners' home town. Engaging them in the most important topics of the day is Job One.

• Working knowledge of politics, pop culture, and lifestyle topics
• Ability to tell stories
• Knowledge of the Washington, DC area
• Social Media Savvy
• People Skills / Team Player
