Production Coordinator
CMD is a boutique audio post-production house and voice over recording facility located in Midtown Manhattan. We are looking for a full-time Assistant Production Coordinator to join our team. Please review the position details below.
Hours and Dates
Hours: 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday
Start: ASAP
Duration: Long-Term
Starting Salary: $32,000 - $37,000 based on experience
Benefits: Five (5) days paid vacation and major holiday pay. Eligibility for health benefits after Twelve (12) months.
Please note: Hours in office will vary depending on the studio's schedule, and there may be occasional weekend hours.
About Our Company
CMD is a boutique audio post-production house and voice over recording facility located in Midtown Manhattan. We cast voice talent, record audio, and mix projects in-house for broadcast, digital, industrials and everything in between. Our client list includes the NBA, Mercedes Benz, MasterCard, and Comedy Central to name a few. We work in a newly built-out space that is both creative and productive, and we work hard to deliver the highest-quality products possible.
Job Responsibilities
Tasks include quoting projects, voice over casting, prepping meetings, task delegation with production assistants and interns, answering phones, data entry, organizing and prepping voice over and mix sessions, vetting scripts, interfacing with clients and talent, office upkeep, foreign language analysis, additional assistance on two new ventures (The Voice Shop & CB Radio Tours) and creative research methods. This position will require a natural ability to ''brain storm'' possible solutions then follow that up inclination with a strong sense of research to find the right methodology to drive business results.
Critical Behaviors & Qualifications
We're looking for a positive and enthusiastic team player who has the ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency and to develop complex strategies. Proficiency in Mac OS X, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and an overall strong knowledge of computer software is essential. Work in Photoshop is a plus. This is an extremely detail-oriented position that calls for someone who is resourceful and highly organized. Administration experience, production experience, or an office internship is required.
