Job Summary:
Creative Artists Agency, the world's leading full service entertainment, media, and sports agency is seeking an exceptional assistant to support an agent in the Theatre Department working with Literary clients in the New York office.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support, including heavy phones, coordinating meetings and schedules, preparing expense reports, and producing correspondence
• Assist with special projects, research, data analysis, and compiling information on current events as needed
• Handle reservations and ticket requests for the agents, colleagues, and clients
• Track and process client payments promptly and accurately
• Read scripts, attend shows and provide feedback and research within the industry
• Serve as first point of contact with clients and executives
Education and Experience:
• BA/BS from an accredited University or College
• 1-2 years of direct assistant experience at an agency, management company, studio, casting office, or regional/non-profit theatre strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge and interest in the theatre community; cultured, curious, well-read, sophisticated, and refined
• Professional, customer-service attitude
• Motivated, quick-thinking, flexible, and highly organized
• Capable of performing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding, ever changing environment
• Computer literate and possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Team oriented
