Assistant, TV Research (Entry-Level)
The world's leading full service entertainment, media, and sports agency is seeking an assistant within our Television Research Department.
In this role, you should have the ability to objectively analyze ratings information under direction of management for both the broadcast and cable arenas. You should also be able to write meaningful and easily digestible bullet points for various shows. Additional responsibilities will include:
•Providing broadcast primetime set up information for Fast Affiliate delivery.
•Reviewing and writing summaries of syndicated reports, produce regular reports/memos on industry trends.
•Responding to ad hoc requests and other projects as requested.
•Minimum requirement of internship to 1 year of experience working with ratings at a syndicator, agency, station, broadcast network or cable network.
•General knowledge of the television business and evolving trends
•Must have some exposure to Nielsen's Galaxy Explorer and Overnight systems.
•Ability to function effectively in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
•Excellent written and verbal communication skill
•Strong critical thinking skills
•Strong project management skills
•High attention to detail, reliable and flexible
•Strong interest in program research
•Exceptional organizational, verbal, written and time management skills
