Intern - Production Assistant

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Cosmic Toast Studios is a full-service production company with an emphasis on animation. Our facilities contain all of the talent and equipment necessary for pre-production, production, and post-production, allowing students to experience all aspects of studio operations in a fun, creative setting.

We are currently seeking a Production Assistant Intern to join our team in January:

Tasks to include:

* Helping out on-set in various roles (setting up lights, running camera/sound, prepping the green screen, etc.)
* Assisting production manager in coordinating shoots (scouting locations, organizing call times, transporting equipment, etc.)
* Providing script coverage
* Performing administrative duties when necessary (answering phones, greeting guests, etc.)
* Assisting with day-to-day studio operations (running errands, making coffee, assisting in studio clean-up, etc.)

Requirements:

* Exceptional organizational and communication skills
* Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and follow instructions
* Experience in production preferred
* College coursework in Film or related field preferred
* A positive attitude and eagerness to learn is a MUST

Our goal is to help bridge the gap between "student of the entertainment industry" and fully-fledged participant in it. We strive to hire from within whenever possible, so the internship could turn into a paid position for the right candidate. However, even if we are not the right employment fit for an intern, we hope to provide them with the skills and guidance necessary to find a job in the field of their choice after the internship is over.
