Splash is the leading independent entertainment news and picture agency in America. Splash brings the hottest, most up-to-date Hollywood stories and photos to millions of people around the world through their favorite newspapers, magazines and TV stations. Splash has been credited with announcing some of the most memorable and controversial show biz stories to come out of Los Angeles in recent years.

The Sales Representative plays an instrumental role in assuring Splash customers receive the highest level of customer support and service and that Splash realizes the revenue potential of its superior offering. As such, this role is critical to Splash's success in the entertainment news industry.

Responsibilities:
--Placing celebrity photographs and video with publishers in print and new media in the US and overseas
--Handle high volume of calls, emails and chats in metric driven environment
--Ensure efficient data input for price quotes and orders from all Splash products
--Nurture potential clients to become fully qualified leads ready for purchase
--Ability to use soft and hard selling skills to win new business
--Provide account support by setting up and establishing customer credit, check account status, process account pay-off, issue invoice/credit memos

The ideal candidate must possess:
--3+ years in a sales role environment or entertainment industry experience
--Experience with media industry assets (advertising, publishing & corporate entities) particular celebrity and pop culture
--MS Product Suite skills
--Ability to work in a fast paced environment, quick learner, able to handle tight deadlines
--Excellent communication and organizational skills
--Excellent team player, also able to work on your own initiative
--Familiarity with web browsing and search techniques
--Sales minded and customer oriented, experience in a target driven environment
