Description
The Sr. Manager of Online Marketing executes marketing campaigns and tactics across owned media channels. Working in partnership with other leaders on the sales and marketing teams, this role creates and manages campaigns and promotions for web and email, and provides deployment support for multi-channel campaigns.
At the senior manager level, the Online Marketing leader also provides business and marketing requirements for the Corbis website and other technology initiatives. Additionally, this role owns revenue targets and other KPIs for the online sales channel, and will play a primary leadership role in the relaunch of the Corbis website and commerce platform.
Responsibilities
Marketing Operations and Project Management
• Manage a team of 3-5 marketing operations specialists supporting web and email channels
• Develop and track customer, campaign, and channel KPIs
• Own the marketing deployment calendar for web and email
• Create workflows and deployment processes to ensure successful, timely execution in owned media channels
• Ensure that all online marketing activities integrate with and support other marketing communications campaigns and reinforce brand positioning and visual identity
• Create regular reports detailing activity in owned-media channels, including email programs and web activity
Marketing Program Management
• Develop and optimize email newsletter and trigger programs
• Deploy content for marketing campaigns in partnership with other marketing leaders
Product Marketing and Product Management
• Create business requirements for marketing automation tools
• Ensure that Corbis’ email and web channels incorporate the benefits of CRM technology; represent the online marketing perspective in CRM development
• Own the marketing relationship with technology partners
• Develop positioning and communications plans for technology-driven initiatives with a customer-facing impact
• Create online promotions and campaigns to drive revenue and lead-generation
Lead initiatives to support the shift of Corbis’ business to the online / self-service web channel
• Develop a prioritized roadmap and list of features to generate incremental revenue from Corbis’ web properties; manage the development of these features by technology partners
• Provide business and marketing requirements to technology partners building the next generation of Corbis’ web site and other online tools
• Manage day-to-day interactions with 3rd party vendors supporting Corbis’ development initiatives
• Partner with Corbis performance marketing team to ensure that traffic- and revenue-driving programs are optimized
Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and team-building abilities
• Ability to manage large, cross-functional teams for the successful completion of technology projects
• Exceptional communication skills
• Must be able to function effectively in a high-ambiguity environment with multiple stakeholders
• Solid understanding of a range of online marketing disciplines, including email, social, content, SEM, SEO, display, and affiliates; able to manage and/or partner effectively with channel owners in each of these disciplines
• Strong analytic skills, including eCommerce and related metrics
Experience and Education
• 5-7 years demonstrating progressive responsibility in high-volume online marketing / ecommerce, including experience managing email programs and partnering with internal technology teams to deliver tools for online business
• Previous experience managing 3rd party vendors and budgets for technology integrations
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline required
• Previous experience in stock photography preferred
