Corbis is currently seeking a Senior Director of Global Marketing to drive marketing strategy and initiatives that optimize customer acquisition, growth, retention and loyalty across multiple industry-leading brands. The position will have worldwide responsibility for all our marketing efforts and will lead teams that have deep experience in online marketing, direct marketing, email marketing, conceiving and producing world class creative materials, circulation and analytics, public relations and user experience. Successful candidates will be able to inspire continued excellence in these core marketing competencies and contribute their expertise in establishing successful new lead generation marketing, CRM marketing, branding and ongoing customer engagement.
We are seeking an outstanding creative and analytical marketing leader who thrives on success, new technologies and customer behavior and who can help propel our company growth across two of our business verticals – Commercial and Media. This position reports to the EVP, Images and will work closely with functional leads in Products, Technology, and Sales to propel the company to the next level of success.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute global marketing plans and ensure deliverables maximize company’s growth objectives and strategic requirements
• Work closely with our Business Development, Sales and Customer Service teams to understand our customer needs and development appropriate programs
• Work closely with our Product teams to refine our product marketing efforts and more effectively convey our value proposition to potential users
• Partner with internal design team and external agencies in support of marketing objectives
• Manage online marketing campaigns including display advertising, email marketing, SEM and social media
• Establish an aggressive lead generation program and ongoing testing cycle to drive new traffic to our core sites, Corbis Images, Corbis Motion and Veer
• Lead our buyer retention activities to develop stronger relationships with our customers
• Guide our team in accelerating the potential of Corbis’ social media tools like blogs, Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook to enhance our business
• Oversee PR inquiries in support of marketing objectives and messages
• Manage our Customer Research efforts
• Manage our Customer Experience Optimization & Measurement
• Support internal clients with marketing insights derived from customer data, research and response analysis
• Evaluate, recommend and deploy cutting-edge technologies that support marketing goals
• Increase ROI by continually testing for winning creative, copy, audience, channels, premiums and price points
• Evaluate marketing operations and improve campaign turnaround time, reporting, effectiveness and efficiency
Seeking a person who:
EXPERIENCE
• Has 10-12 years marketing experience
• An undergraduate degree is required and an MBA degree is preferred
• Brings a wide range of recent and relevant global marketing experiences, with specific expertise in digital channels including search-engine marketing, on-line media, online user interface design, online merchandising, online partnerships, viral programs, and CRM
• Has demonstrated savvy marketing and strategic ability in a global, customer-focused business that is regarded for its superior products/services and the freshness and innovation of its marketing
• Very strong ROI-focused lead generation and nurturing experience
MANAGEMENT
• Exceptional management skills in developing and executing sophisticated marketing strategies, tactics, plans and programs.
• Experience managing a global, multi-disciplinary team
• Accountability-focused, tough but fair manager who can inspire his/her team
• Strong communicator, with strong written and verbal communication skills, who can develop inspiring stories and sell strategies across all levels of the organization
