Purpose
The Sales Executive’s primary responsibility is revenue generation by handling a high volume of incoming customer inquiries via phone, email and chat as well as conducting proactive outreach to existing customers. The secondary, and no less important, responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service. In order to identify new revenue opportunities the sales executive is expected to actively prospect within the unassigned client base. The sales executive is also expected to have a thorough understanding of Corbis’ collection of imagery, motion footage, and rights services in order to best meet and service customer needs.
Responsibilities
• Meet or exceed the sales center team’s monthly revenue average by maintaining a high close ratio, up-selling and minimizing discounting.
• Maximizing sales with prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries and requests for pricing as well as high-quality assistance with client online transactions and research requests.
• Proactively target high-potential clients to increase existing image licensing volume.
• Identify new client opportunities, develop new prospective customer lists, and make up to 25 calls per day on outbound calls from prospect lists to introduce Corbis in order to establish new customer accounts and renew lapsed accounts.
• Refer potential new client opportunities over to sales manager, supervisors or business development managers as appropriate.
• Track all open quotations and daily sales and conduct timely follow up calls with the goal to close all open revenue opportunities.
• Develop comprehensive understanding of new products and services – including Motion, and Rights Services – in order to introduce and effectively communicate the full scope of these services to existing and new accounts.
• Meet or exceed activity KPI levels which include number of incoming inquiries that are handled, the number of outbound calls placed to clients among other activities.
• Maintain up to date knowledge and fluency in all of Corbis’ imagery collections to effectively present and promote to clients.
• Actively promote the ecommerce capabilities of our website to our clients.
• Support every client for technical problems with our website or image quality and become a partner to them by offering solutions.
• Responsible for maintain a sales board to track daily/monthly sales and quotations
• Resolve technical support problems including web browser troubleshooting, fulfillment issues, speaking to image attributes
Qualifications
• One to two years of sales experience.
• Strong computer skills required proficiency in working with CRM applications as well as MS Office applications especially in Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent listening skills
• Must be organized, self-motivating, hardworking, analytical and proactive
• Must be able to work well with individuals at all levels, inside and outside the organization
• Must be able to work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team
• Strong multi-tasking skills required
