As Project Manager, you will report to the Creative Director and will work closely with creative, marketing, dev, and localization teams. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects across a variety of digital and traditional media. This is a non-design role but the successful applicant will be detail driven, have a good aesthetic sense and the ability to keep output on-brand and on-message. The role offers plenty of scope to bring insightful ideas and best practices to a developing and driven team.
You will coordinate the production of a high volume of digital campaigns, manage the delivery of small to medium sized builds, as well as social media initiatives and offline events. This includes, but is not limited to, websites, campaign-focused microsites, rich media banner advertising, localization for global markets, eCRM campaigns, build of email campaigns and print collateral.
You will have experience of daily and longer term planning, resourcing either within an agency traffic or production environment as well as formal project management training. Experience in working with off-shore teams and across time-zones will be a distinct advantage as you will extensively collaborate with colleagues based in EMEA.
Additionally, as Project Manager you will have a strong technical knowledge of current web technologies and an understanding of the processes and challenges involved in managing digital production work. You will be able to apply best practice project management methodologies and lead the improvement or implementation of process within the department. You will also have a passion for the creative and technical aspects of running digital projects. You will be in charge of the creative process by managing meetings from brief and reviews at the various stages, advise on creative resources and always be thinking ahead of the client services/project management team for creative, timings and budget.
Responsibilities:
• Take an 'Intelligent Resourcing' approach to challenges.
• Resolve quick turnaround resourcing requirements.
• Compile, track, maintain and report on the resource forecast.
• Manage the studio booking procedure.
• Effectively manage time use of each creative team member.
• Plan, book and coordinate off-site creative services activity as necessary.
• Proactively negotiate with colleagues and third parties.
• Work across functions in the delivery of projects and when reviewing creative briefs to ensure accuracy.
• Work with other teams to ensure accurate and articulated project scope.
• Deliver multiple projects on brief, on time and to the agreed budget – using management methodologies appropriate to successful completion.
• Source third parties and manage costs and timings.
• Remain calm under pressure, proactive, diplomatic and approachable.
Skills / Qualifications needed:
• 5 years’ work experience in a consulting or agency environment as project manager or equivalent.
• A clear sense of commercial prioritization.
• Proven People Management experience in a similar role and environment.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Excellent time management.
• Team work and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to manage other stakeholders' expectations and meet demanding deadlines.
• Experience of producing project documentation, including sitemaps, wireframes, budgets and timing plans using appropriate software.
• A solid technical background and robust scope of knowledge leading IT-intensive creative projects, with a strong focus on cutting edge front-end technologies.
• Experience evaluating creative briefs and other marketing-related deliverables.
• Experience creating and/or implementing marketing and communication objectives.
• Experienced working in an international environment.
• Strong multi-tasking, project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational, written and communication skills.
• Experience with project management systems.
