Position Title: Producer SNTV
Department: SNTV Production-LA
Purpose:
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual who will deal exclusively with video and television news stories and programs by driving the production of no less than 15 packaged entertainment news videos a day that are broadcasted in 4 languages to more than 30 countries worldwide.
Responsibilities:
• Source, gather, write, produce, and edit stories while maintaining quality control of Splash News TV output.
• Acquire still images and videos for news stories.
• Review story content, sequence, and length for output.
• Direct the pre-production and post-production processes, ensuring that production goals and schedules are met.
• Update external blog with the most updated content.
• Communicate story/clip availability to clients using digital marketing.
• Monitor social media outlets for celebrity happenings and liaise with global picture desks for action and/or mobilization to cover stories.
• Upload textual, image, and/or video content to external website.
• Conduct fact-finding interviews.
• Participate in Company trainings and review processes.
Contacts:
This position has frequent contact with internal departments as well as frequent contact with external vendors, clients and other outside callers.
The ideal candidate must possess:
• Minimum of two years of experience in a media environment, particularly in an agency setting.
• Journalism experience is required, preferably experience reporting for British Newspapers and Magazines.
• Digital photography/videography background is preferred.
• Technology experience, preferably in an Apple environment.
• Experience with editing software, preferably Adobe Premiere.
• Ability to manage high volume, detail oriented process flow.
• Skills in building and sustaining trusted relationships with artists; ability to understand varying needs and anticipating solutions.
• Customer-service orientation toward client satisfaction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to be flexible with working times due to the nature of working across different time zones.
