Corbis One Premier Sales Team Business Development Director
Purpose:
Responsible for managing the team and driving revenues as the number two in the newly formed Corbis One Premier Sales (COPS) group.
Corbis has four major customer groups:
• Advertising Agencies
• Brands
• Media Agencies
• Publishers
This role is to work with the wider COPS Team (8 FT and 3 PT) in EMEA to help drive $7.5 million worth of revenue in 2015 from our principal 125 customers and new business.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for meeting and exceeding the teams assigned revenue targets with the CorbisUK MD.
• Responsible for acquiring, expanding, and retaining new brands.
• Use a proactive, consultative selling approach for long-term relationship building.
• Establish multiple level contacts within assigned accounts. Present to, consult with andcultivate relationships at the highest level.
• Identify and evaluate clients’ needs in relation to the full range of Corbis services.
• Work closely with the wider Corbis group, use the highest standards of interpersonalcommunication, to lead the team in developing business with Key accounts.
• Work closely with marketing to build out sales materials and tools for success
• Work closely with UK MD to develop the Team and COPS culture.
Requirements:
• Demonstrated success in a results-driven sales environment, with a track record of achievingand exceeding demanding sales targets in Sports/Entertainment fields
• Excellent presentation, listening and consulting skills a must.
• 10 years’ extensive experience in sales, including all phases of sales development inSports/Entertainment (prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, closing and relationship/account management).
• A consultative sales approach combined with measurable success with new businessgeneration is critical.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Self-motivated, goal-orientedwith strong time management skills required.
• Team–oriented: The ability to work effectively as a member of a diverse team of people.
• The ability to lead and inspire others to provide the highest levels of service and support toassigned clients.
• Travel within designated territories for client visits, networking opportunities and Corbiscompany meetings.
