Develop relationships with journalists and pitch them story ideas involving clients. Another key part to the job involves positioning clients as expert sources. Supporting the clients because they may lack hands-on experience with media, publicists train them how to speak with reporters and what to say. Learning to know if a publicity campaign is working, Track client's coverage and measure the effectiveness. Entry-level publicists monitor news stories by clipping copies of articles or tracking online stories to follow client coverage. Gather information for speeches and press releases.
Events
Businesses and organizations for events or press conferences to introduce new products or services. Publicist's job to help plan and coordinate special occasions. To help determine space needs and choose an event venue. We are looking for someone who can create attendance lists, send out invitations and follow up to ensure participation. (During event's, publicists distribute product samples, souvenirs and other materials. It's also important to follow up after an event to answer questions or promote coverage.
We are looking for a temp who would like to learn how to be a publicist but we need someone with heart and passion to learn whom is interested in taking this job to the next level.
Whom ever we hire will be taught to work hands on with established recording artist .. NON PAYING internship. After your time is done we will either hire you on or write you a letter of recommendation along with school credit. Position requires someone who is say with social media .
