Complete Control Management (also known as ''CCM''), based in both Brooklyn and Los Angeles, is an artist management company that works with some of today's most exciting creatives in the field of music. CCM is part of the larger umbrella, Control Music Group (also known as ''CMG''), and as such works closely with CMG's other members (Mixed Management, Parts & Labor, Priority Records, Recreation Worldwide, Undocumented Management, and United Management).
CCM / CMG is looking to find a suitable candidate to fulfil the roles and responsibilities of a Business Operations Assistant position. This position would be based out of our Los Angeles office.
The Business Operations Assistant will be responsible for providing direct support to the VP of Operations across all facets of CCM / CMG business activities. As CCM houses the Business Operations division of CMG, he or she will be a direct conduit between CCM and the various CMG divisions on a day-to-day basis. He or she will be asked to strengthen operations-related synergies through system implementation and system administration. He or she will also interface on a day-to-day basis with our outside accounting firm in order to funnel the flow of internal CCM / CMG information needed for their specific day-to-day activities.
You: Candidates must be an extremely efficient and skilled communicator, who is able to multi-task and balance time extremely well. They should have prior experience in budgeting; experience with accounts payable and receivable processing is also recommended.
Responsibilities:
-Support the VP of Operations in managing and resolving operational issues across CCM / CMG
-Track, update, and administer internal financial tracking systems across CMG divisions, including, but not limited to, the tracking and reconciling of company commissions revenues, accounts payable/accounts receivable, and T&E expenses.
-Organize and administer budgets for CCM-employee travel, for both one-off instances as well as music festival-related travel.
-Review current internal infrastructure and provide recommendations/solutions for optimization.
-Perform general office administrative and clerical duties pertaining to the CMG Los Angeles office.
Requirements/Qualifications:
-1-3 years of work experience
-Experience relating to business-operations preferred
-Excellent communication skills
-Proficient in all Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
-Strong problem solving skills
-Strong communication skills
