Roles & Responsibilities
Report to Control Music Group/Recreation Worldwide co-CEO as senior project manager.
Support in the following areas:
- Artist management projects, reporting, organizing, budgeting
- Contract negotiation
- Implementation of management company initiatives
- Liaison with broader management team and artists
- Financial reporting and tracking
- Meeting scheduling and participation
- Creation of overviews and implementation plans, as well as follow through
- Brand program initiatives including:
o Assisting in the delivery of program strategy/creative
o Talent strategy and negotiation
o Contract negotiation
o Program activation
o Client and partner relationships and communication
o New business development, targeting and pitching in brand/music space
Qualifications
- Minimum of (4) years relevant music industry/artist management experience
- Brand activation experience required
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree a plus
- Proficiency in computer software applications and emerging technology
- Solid understanding of contracts, music revenue streams and licensing
- Strong Excel formula capabilities
- Solid Keynote capabilities
- Strong knowledge of electronic dance music and hip-hop, as well as general music culture
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented, organized, timely and accurate
- Punctual, available to work overtime
- Active knowledge of social networks, applications and services online and mobile
- Ability to lead and help build teams
- Foreign language knowledge a plus (Korean top priority)
- Travel required occasionally (Domestic and International)?
- A strong interest in developing new areas of sales growth and exposure.
- Ability to work under pressure, communicate effectively and meet deadlines.
- Candidate should be very organized and have the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize tasks and projects based on understanding needs to co-CEO
- Knowledge, know-how and confidence to manage multiple opinions and varying needs of different team members, both internally and externally
