Details: This is a temporary assignent.

Maintain an orderly vault system through physical/digital shipments and organized internal inventory in a fast paced environment. Regularly upload and download elements. Vault Operator assists with various errands and problem solving as needed while attending to the hospitality effort to clients.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Order new tape/disc stock to maintain an ample inventory and for any special projects.
- Provide weekly inventories of raw stock on hand.
- Assign new stock ID numbers and enter bar-codes and new master information regarding elements moved into the vault.
- Stock all rooms (Tape Room/Q.C. Area) at least once per shift and clear elements at least twice per shift.
- Arrange for shipping and receiving and maintain accurate records. Ship Fed-Ex requests.
- Keep daily receipts in designated notebooks as a paper back-up to computer entries.
- Work with Client Services and Operations to track elements.
- Clear outdated material to long term storage to make room for new elements.
- Work with Client Services to determine recyclable tapes and titles to be stored long term.
- Maintain tape recycling log. Take recycled tapes to be degaussed.
- Learn and work within DADC database to centralize the status of all elements correctly.
- Available to work overtime and weekends when necessary.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree and Post-Production background preferred.

EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum of two years experience in Hollywood Studio, shipping/receiving, and/or administrative field.
- Operating knowledge of Windows and MS Office mandatory. Strong computer skills.
- Strong oral and written communications skills required.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Advanced organizational and cataloging skills. Ability to execute duties in a timely manner.
- The ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Knowledge and understanding of physical as well as digital file formats.
- Machine/Tape room experience (HDCAM SR/Digibeta/Duplication) a plus.
