Small but growing media conglomerate looking for a V.P. of Operations for it’s Beverly Hills Office. Candidate must have experience in entertainment and be fully bilingual in English/Spanish.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supports and implements corporate governance
- Risk Management – Studying and implementing policies
- Gauging, reporting employee performance
- Reviews and approves adequate plans for the control of budget spending
- Develops and presents to the CEO matters requiring a decision.
- Presents monthly reports on performances as requested by the CEO
- Reviews and approves cost control reports, cost estimates
- Reviews and approves the setting of budgets.
- Identifies training needs, initiates development of subordinates, recommends effective personnel action.
- Keeps employees informed as to company/department plans and progress.
- Consults with all segments of management responsible for policy or action. Ensures compliance. Makes recommendations for improving effectiveness of policies and procedures.
- Reviews, endorses, revises budget proposals in accordance with the budget procedure. Approves budget expenses up to authorized dollar amounts.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Background in the entertainment industry – FULLY bilingual in English/Spanish.
-Strong personality and and maturity as well as advanced interpersonal skills.
-Ability to manage and lead a team and get along with a diverse group of personalities
-Stong ethics and loyalty a must
-Able to set, and lead and adhere to corporate policies and be fair and tactful. |
