A great entertainment property is looking for a strong Storyboard Artist to join its team on a series of projects. You will be responsible for the sequential art and development of storylines for experiences and scripts. These will be hand drawn, so you should have a strong grasp of line art via pencils and inks, in both black and white and color. You will be dealing with people and environments in your drawings, so you should have a firm grasp of drawing them in a realistic style with special attention paid to scale. We are looking for strong, gestural work that tells a great story!
You should have:
- 3+ years experience with illustration or storyboards
- Strong capabilities with traditional hand methods [digital skills are a plus]
- A great portfolio with realistic style samples [these projects are not conducive to sci-fi or fantasy styles]
- The ability to take art direction and scripts and make them in to a great visual narrative
This is an ongoing, on-site position in the LA/Burbank area with a rate in the $30 - $50 hourly range. |
