Santa Monica Production Company is looking for an HR Assistant.
Duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1) Respond to general human resources service requests and issues in a timely manner.
2) Conduct new hire and benefit orientations and create on-boarding packets.
3) Create and maintain employee and I-9 files.
4) Administer Health Plan and participant enrollments/terminations with carriers and update health deduction/goal amounts in ADP.
5) Process HR changes and update ADP, ATS, PTO System, HealthComp, and direct deposit.
6) Process payroll.
7) Prepare termination packets, including generating the final paycheck.
8) Maintain the Human Resources Department Procedure Manual.
9) Maintain the HR webpage by uploading and updating documents as needed.
10) Perform other related duties, as assigned.
Other skills:
1) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
2) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
3) Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience and one (1) year of experience in human resources.
4) Strong communication skills.
5) Detail oriented.
6) Customer-service oriented with the ability to work well in a team environment.
7) Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
8) Adaptable to fast-paced and fluid environment.
9) Must be able to regularly use repetitive motion for keyboard use and writing.
10) Experience in ADP or similar database systems is preferred.
