Part Time Unpaid Internship
Hollywood based Production Financing and Global Distribution company seeks winter/spring intern.
Film school teaches you the definition of mise-en-scène, why Sergei Eisenstein is important, and how to work a camera, but we can teach you how to develop, package, and most importantly, finance your film, and how to get it distributed after it's finished. Learn real world skills that will help you secure a job in one of the most exciting, rewarding, and ever-evolving industries.
Our internship role requires a strong degree of multi-tasking, a sharp focus for details, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Must be a constant team player, self-motivated and willing to learn the business. We expect you to be articulate, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Internship Description: The internship is an unpaid program for school credit. Great office location and atmosphere.
include, but not limited to: Reading scripts and writing coverage (we'll teach you how) Answering and screening emails Assistance with updating project reports Tracking projects for acquisition Review daily industry trades Assist in preparing for festivals and film markets Attend Screenings Scheduling meetings and appointments Taking diligent notes during meetings and calls Working with agents, and managers packaging projects
-Must be enrolled as undergraduate or graduate student
-Must work at least 2 days per week with a maximum of 3 days (9am-5pm PST)
-Must have own laptop
-Strong Computer skills
-Some experience with Microsoft Office (Create and maintain spreadsheets)
-Photoshop experience is a plus but not necessary
