Description
Innovative, industry-leading, and accomplished Nashville-based record label is seeking an experienced Web Designer to join their Marketing team. Candidate must have a strong background and established vision for web design and must be proficient in CSS/HTML/PHP. Ability to work with and contribute to a thriving team in a fast-paced, innovative environment a must.
Essential Job Functions
• Design, update, maintain, and oversee all web design projects
• Meet with team members and clients to understand the vision of a project and establish clear goals and expectations
• Manage all project timelines and expectations
• Design, develop, and oversee updates for all web content, graphics, and overall layout/appearance of each project
• Stay up-to-date with and advise on recommended implementation of new trends in web design
Job Requirements
• 1-2 years of professional web design experience required
• An online portfolio where previous work samples can be reviewed required
• Experience with and comfortable working in CSS/HTML/PHP required
• Photoshop experience required
• Minor JavaScript experience required
• Drupal experience preferred
• Magento experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and self-manage projects
• Effectively work with and collaborate with the marketing team
• Proficient in communicating, collaborating, and working with other departments
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time in various stages
• Ability to spot, research, and implement web design trends, as needed
