TV Production Company seeks a full-time video journalist for news segments produced for international broadcast. The right candidate will be willing to roll up their sleeves and take initiative. Will also be responsible for live events & in-house production requests.
Requirements:
must be fluent in written & spoken MANDARIN CHINESE
must be a Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen; unfortunately, work permits & other visas are not accepted
- film, produce, write, & edit for news
- develop story ideas, set up & conduct interviews
- fluent in FCP
- experience with Sony EX-1/EX-3 a plus
- experience with lavalier setup; not shy about putting them on strangers
- highly organized
- experience with Sony ANYCAST or Live Content Production preferred
- coordinate volunteers for live event coverage
- can manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines & fast paced environment
- must be able to communicate effectively and contribute to the team environment
- flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines/cover weekend events
- positive & flexible attitude a must!
