We are seeking a well organized individual with awesome communication skills who is looking to make an immediate impact in a dynamic Video Production Environment. This role is on a small team that provides support to several video production teams within our organization. Some days, you're processing purchase requests, other days you are prepping camera gear, another day you might be helping an editor troubleshoot their bay, another day you might be on-set shooting an awesome video. Roles and Responsibilities
Administration
Manage schedules for all video production equipment and facilities.
Maintain equipment inventory in online database.
Help other departments leverage the studio's shared skills, equipment and digital assets.
Facilitate onboarding of video production contractors and external partners.
Act as a studio liaison for video content creators throughout The Company
Anticipate resource bottlenecks and communicate issues to product teams ahead of time.
Improve administrative processes throughout the entire Video Production Team.
Production
Check-out and check-in equipment.
Train Teammates and external partners in proper use of equipment.
Service and repair damaged equipment.
Order new equipment and integrate into existing inventory.
Maintain safe working conditions in sound stage and production control rooms.
Build and wrap interview shoots in sound stage using lights and backdrops.
Operate camera and audio gear on set.
Post Production
Assist the Assistant Editor in the media lifecycle from on-set DIT through LTO archival
Help organize and manage digital assets on video production server.
Provide technical support for edit bays running Premiere, Final Cut, Resolve, ProTools, etc.
Coordinate translators in the drafting and finalization of subtitles.
Occasionally prep dailies and run screenings for documentary producers.
Log media and metadata in media asset management system.
Beta-test post production applications for transcription, subtitling, and data management.
Conform projects for color and final delivery using XML relinking in Resolve if the Assistant Editor is unavailable.
Nice to have: Write command-line scripts to automate post production processes such as file ownership.
Runner
Act as a runner or courier occasionally driving own car to pick up, purchase, or drop off an item
May be asked to drive a production vehicle--cargo van or box truck.
