We're an entertainment studio looking for an experienced VP, Development to join our Television series development group.
The two primary responsibilities of this position are scouting and meeting with diverse, emerging talent of all types and then developing, producing, and overseeing internal projects (from development to production to post-production to release).
In this position, one will recommend and pitch talent to other departments internally, attend daily pitch meetings (5-6 per day), and review and respond to incoming submissions on a rolling basis.
Relationships with talent, representation and traditional as well as SVOD buyers are critical.
Must be able to work in a friendly, open-minded atmosphere as a team player and must be resourceful.
