THIS IS A JOB FOR THOSE APPLICANTS INTERESTED IN THEATER, ONLY.
Agents at a New York Theatrical Agency specializing in the representation of playwrights, composers, lyricists, directors, choreographers and designers seek an experienced Administrative Assistant, with at least two years of work in professional environments. An ideal position for someone with prior experience in an office and the world of new play development.
Responsibilities include all general office, administrative and client services. Seeking a highly organized individual with a strong attention to detail as the position includes access to the negotiations of contracts and project management. Candidate must have the ability to multi-task; be computer literate (multiple programs); have excellent writing and verbal skills; be able to conduct business under occasional high pressure; must be self-motivated as well as able to work in a team setting. A college degree is required.
Candidate must be able to join several agents and assistants in the division and work collaboratively. This position has an excellent opportunity for growth.
