Seeking an experienced assistant with a publicity and/or marketing background, who has knowledge of the film industry for a seasonal assistant position under the SVP of Marketing. We are looking for a proactive individual who will be able to hit the ground running in an extremely fast-paced office where administrative duties will be juggled with the coordinating of screening events and awards materials. This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone interested in breaking into the industry. While reporting to the SVP of Marketing, you will also meet the needs of in-house staff, as well as awards consultants, both domestic and international, who will require your support to campaign for titles in their respective countries. Will be required to work evenings for coverage at screenings and special events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors Degree
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong ability to problem solve independently
• Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel Is a must
• Candidates with prior experience at an agency or studio preferred
