Full Time Job
I am looking for a full time Office Production Assistant to fill a position that was recently vacated. The position is at a television network and job duties will mainly include assisting producers with in their short form production (Promos and Interstitials) and insuring spots get to air.
This is a full time job with benefits so only the best candidates will be considered.
• Assist Producers and Associate Producers to maintain our backend workflow
• QC finished production output.
• Collaborate with production team to insure integrity of the on-air look & feel.
• Generate ideas for short form material.
• Responsible for filling out paperwork and working with other departments to facilitate production and delivery of material.
• Some weekend and alternative hours may be needed during special events
• Additional tasks as assigned.
• Candidate must be able to edit on Avid. Candidate must have at least one year's worth of experience working in a similar capacity at a network or cable channel.
• Must possess strong writing & copy-editing skills and be detail-oriented.
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, juggle multiple tasks and deliver under tight deadlines.
You will stand out as a candidate and will be interviewed if:
1. You have previous office PA experience in a television production environment, working with a team in processing numerous short form (Promos and Interstitials) projects from concept to completion.
2. Your main experience is not Set PA work.
3. You have a keen insight into the world of style, fashion and celebrity news.
4. You can already edit in an Avid environment.
5. You already live in the Los Angeles area.
6. You are not looking for a career change from another industry.
