Busy New York television production company is looking for a talented and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Technical Manager. This person will oversee the company's growing camera, lighting, and grip department. The ideal candidate is passionate about film/video production and the modern tools that are used to capture images and sound. Knowledge of and passion for video camera packages, tape-based and tapeless workflows, and technology in general is a must. The Technical Manager will also need to be highly organized and detail-oriented, as s/he will be in charge of systematizing the inventory tracking process, including check-in and check-out as well as with repairs, purchases, and maintenance. Day-to-day responsibilities include prepping equipment packages and interacting with production staff and freelance crews in order to ensure that they have the tools they need to do great work. Applicant must be a team player and approach each challenge with a can-do attitude.
