The Intern - Programming & Product Management will assist in cross-platform distribution product development and strategy for 14 television networks to cable, satellite, telco and digital distributors. The successful candidate will manage data for a programming, scheduling and forecasting software development initiative. Project will include analysis of television series rights, distribution commitments, and windowing strategy toward a rules-based automation project.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Analyze existing programming grid for 14 television networks to determine programming guidelines per series.
• Create new series and seasons in proprietary scheduling software and set up rules according to programming grids for forecasting and reporting purposes.
• Match new creations to existing product in network scheduling software.
• Report and analyze various programming metrics.
• Drive mapping project toward comprehensive view of distribution landscape per series
Skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications:
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Desired Characteristics:
• Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communications
• Rich numerical and analytical skill set
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
