We are seeking an energetic, upbeat, passionate and hardworking sales/marketing intern with an entrepreneurial spirit to help our growing video production company.
Job Description:
This is a learn-while-doing, hands on sales and marketing internship. The intern will work closely with management to help prospect and identify new opportunities with ad/digital agencies and brands across the U.S (but mostly in NY). This includes researching/gathering information about prospective clients through the internet (including social media), phone, etc. Will assist in email outreach, help set meetings, call and meeting preparation. Help organize, manage and input information into client database and other internal systems. Will also work on developing marketing and sales strategies to engage and build new customer relationships for the company.
Qualifications:
Intern must be a rising or current junior, rising or current senior, graduate student, or recent graduate (within 6 months of graduation date) at an accredited college/university.
Applicants must have completed their sophomore year prior to the start of the internship.
Must be taking the internship for course credit and can provide a letter of verification OR you are taking the internship as a learning enhancement and can provide a letter of recommendation from a current college professor/staff member
Must have previous internship experience and/or participated in college organizations, and/or in-depth coursework in a related field.
Demonstrated interest in video production is preferred.
Excellent verbal, analytical, written, critical thinking, planning, and presentation skills.
Must be highly organized, self-motivated and a quick learner
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Mac proficient computer skills in Office, google chrome, Social Media, linkedin, etc.
Legally eligible to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor visas for interns. If you are an international student not already studying in the U.S. on an F-1 or J-1 visa, then you have to go through a university or an outside organization (internship placement agency) that will sponsor your visa.
