Major talent agency with offices in New York and Los Angeles is seeking a talented, driven Assistant for the Stage Entertainment Division in the Los Angeles office. The department represents clients in entertainment production, working with the technical elements of music industry events, television and live concerts.
This is an entry-level position, which requires initiative while learning on the job. Strong leadership qualities, excellent phone and communication skills, and versatility are invaluable in this role. Excellent computer and administrative skills needed (rolling calls, scheduling meetings, etc). Seeking a quick-thinking and focused candidate who has a thick skin, as well as the ability to handle fast-paced demands. Familiarity with booking international travel/scheduling is a plus.
** Previous experience on a demanding desk at an agency or management company required. Music industry background preferred, but not necessary.
Requirements:
College degree required.
Excellent written & communication skills with strong attention to detail
Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Professional appearance and presentation
Proficient with PC, MS Office, Breakdown Services
Must be able to work independently with little supervision
Strong work ethic and great attitude
Familiarity with contracts and deal memos
Ability to comfortably interact with high profile clients; discretion is a critical requirement
