Stage Dept. Intern at Bi-Coastal Talent Agency
Intern needed to work for the head of a very busy stage department at a bi-coastal boutique talent agency currently representing actors, directors, and choreographers for the stage. Clients are actively working on Broadway, Off-Broadway, National Tours, Regional Theatre, Cruise Lines, and Theme Parks.
This is a fast-paced, creative environment, so candidate should be able to maintain a calm, professional manner while juggling multiple tasks at once. Candidate should be comfortable working on theatre projects for Los Angeles, New York, and Las Vegas. The ideal individual will possess exemplary written and oral communication skills, excellent phone manner, and an upbeat personality. Must be able to interact with various departments (TV/Film and Commercial), handle pressure in a professional manner, and have the ability to make sound decisions quickly while using practical approaches.
We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated, dedicated and eager individual. Your schedule will be flexible and we can work around college classes. Internship will begin January 2015 and end April 2015.
To be considered you must have a background in the arts, specifically the theatre.
Please do not apply if you do not have a background in theatre.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Answering and directing phone calls (including putting out auditions accurately and corresponding with casting and clients)
- Tracking client auditions.
- Coordinate day-to-day materials (proofs, submissions, etc.)
- Assist with talent submissions
- Interaction with agents, managers, casting directors and actors via phone, email and in person.
