To design, oversee and produce visual imagery for Key Art presentations, including ancillary components integral to entertainment campaigns. Must be able to supervise and coordinate the work of Art Directors and Designers while ensuring that the finished product reflects a unified conceptual approach to the project.
Must possess a strong unifying vision. In particular, be acutely aware of the overall visual appearance and how it communicates the intended message. Through concept and execution must be able to stimulate mood, contrast features, and psychologically appeal to a target audience. Be able to lead a small team within the larger creative group.
Must be able to translate desired moods, messages, concepts, and underdeveloped ideas into imagery. Contribute fully and creatively throughout the brainstorming process and be able to convey what the finished imagery will look like. Help to resolve any conflicting agenda and inconsistencies between the various individual inputs and images.
Major Job Accountabilities:
• Provide forward-thinking creative leadership, inspiring creative collaboration across the organization.
• Formulates concepts and overall design of visual presentations in close concert with creative director, writer, and client depending on source of project.
• Effectively translate branding and marketing strategies for a wide range of properties into exceptional creative concepts and executions in keeping within project scope: strategic positioning, business requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Able to translate print concepts for the online team.
• Serve as mentor to subordinate design team members.
• Present and sell ideas internally and to clients.
• Manage majority of the creative process for smaller-scale projects.
• Develop concepts and designs ensuring the art direction and visual presentation support the defined strategy.
• Collaborate with creative, account services, production, technology, and extended team members on delivering break-though creative solutions.
• Hands-on development of comps, layouts and prototypes in appropriate software applications.
• Presents project to art directors and graphic designers to design art and copy layout needed to carry out goals agreed upon.
• Able to lead internal reviews and critiques. Communicates clearly and able to articulate needed revisions and alterations.
• Reviews samples and approves or suggests changes by graphic designers. Often consults with creative directors and writers before further action is taken.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Graduate of college or art school with degree in graphic design or related field.
* Thorough knowledge of Graphic Design disciplines and photo-manipulation technologies.
* Minimum five years experience with at least two year's supervisory experience.
* Demonstrated management and communication skills.
