Sr. Talent Manager - Up and Coming Digital Talent Management Company
Ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience at an entertainment company working in management, casting, marketing or a combination thereof.
The candidate will have the chance to interface directly with clients, brands, and agencies. This is an exciting opportunity to work in digital entertainment with immense growth potential.
Further, the candidate will be responsible for helping digital talent crossover into the traditional space, creating revenue opportunities and facilitating brand integration on behalf of the talent, and growing their social media audience across YouTube, Vine, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat. The ideal candidate would have a passion for and knowledge of YouTube, and digital entertainment and the world of social media influencers. The candidate would also have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding expectations to support and fulfill the strategic objectives of a highly cross-functional organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Constantly discover new talent and know the key players in the influencer space
Recruit, sign, manage and support digital talent (Please indicate the type of talent with whom you have worked - e.g. musician, actor, etc.)
Develop digital and traditional revenue opportunities
Manage social media audience growth and development across platform
Work with YouTube optimization and performance analysis including titles, tags, descriptions, thumbnails, annotations, post frequency, etc.
Business development expertise with regards to building brand strategies, identifying and securing partnerships, as well as account management
Stay current with social media trends and tools - includes attending networking and educational events, reading blogs, and listening to podcasts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years experience working with talent and audience development and pitching new revenue opportunities, and/or working with traditional talent management or agency experience
Experience with social media platforms, including but not limited to, YouTube, Vine, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, and more.
Expertise and interest in the YouTube and digital video space
Detail-oriented and process driven with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects
Ability to professionally communicate via phone, email, text message, and in person
Demonstrated ability to think outside of the box and be solutions oriented
Flexibility to handle changing market conditions and workload under tight deadlines
Highly organized, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful, optimistic, and eager
Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a wide range of personality types
Solid understanding of the YouTube landscape and entertainment industry
Strong analytical, research skills with the ability to multitask
Enjoy working in a high intensity environment
