At least three years of experience supporting executives, preferably in a media organization. This job is located in Washington DC, not Los Angeles.
Reporting directly to the EVP, the Executive Assistant provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the office of the EVP. The ideal individual will be proactive and have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication skills, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
The Executive Assistant must be able to work under pressure at times. The Executive Assistant will also be expected to handle a wide variety of confidential matters with absolute discretion.The final candidate will assume his/her role at a time of transition for the EVP. In the beginning, a significant amount of time will have to be spent on creating and building all processes necessary for the EVP to effectively manage all calendar needs, priorities, relationships and outputs.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
At least three years of experience supporting executives, preferably in a media organization.
Interest in internal and external communications, partnership development, and digital media.
