Position: Project Basis
We are a lean, growth-oriented organization, seeking a self-motivated Social Guru, part marketer, part analyst, and part growth hacker, that is obsessed with growing and developing audiences. You have a passion for the intricacies of social media interaction, and are capable of aggressively scaling campaign productivity through rigorous A/B testing, fast iteration, data mining, analytics, and funnel optimization. You are a non-stop analyst who is excel friendly (knowledge of pivot tables and lookups is a must) and isn't afraid of diving into a data set. At the same time they should have a working knowledge of social media and data.
What a social media strategist will do with us:
- Build brand and film audiences by executing data-backed social/online outreach plans, applying a growth-hacking mentality to quickly identify what's working and what's not
- Synthesize data from various sources including Facebook Insights, Third party data vendors, and ad buying data, taking data sets and turn them into small, snackable insights
- Actively mine social listening insights to recognize opportunities for amplification, crisis identification and response
- Manage all social channels for audience engagement and work with stakeholders on effective tactics for communication within each social platform, rigorously identifying and testing improvements in outreach tactics, user experience, data-gathering objectives, and brand messaging to maximize user acquisition
- Remain abreast of the latest changes and advancements in social media including algorithms, channels and tools while providing insights and recommendations on trends and third party tools
- Refine our digital assets (video / images / posts / online profiles) by empirically analyzing content and giving data-supported feedback to our video editors/graphic designers/copy editors
