You'll be asked to seamlessly switch social voice from a 14 year-old country singer to a 35 year-old hard rock band and back to an International pop star. Fleek, Turnt, Y'all, YOLO, ''On a Tuesday'', should not only resonate with you but you should be able to distinguish between what's ''in'' and what's ''out.''
The Social Media Manager will oversee a small team, and work closely with in-house design and development when needed.
Responsibilities
•Create and maintain the social media content calendar for multiple music clients
•Work with design to create exciting content for all social media channels for each client
•Responsible for social media campaigns, reporting and tracking
•Manage a small team (social coordinator)
•Strategize / Brainstorm new and creative ways to amplify content and increase engagement
•Manage client relationships and interactions (meetings, conference calls, etc.)
Requirements
•Minimum 2 years experience managing social media for MULTIPLE music clients
•Knowledge of basic; photo editing (photoshop or app based),
•Experience with Facebook Insights, YouTube Analytics, Twitter Analytics and HootSuite a plus
•Creative by nature, not cause I hate ya (bonus points for catching the reference)
•Strong communication skills including ability to work in a team environment, give honest, direct feedback and is a solid verbal and written communicator
•Strong ability to multi-task and seamlessly move from project to project
•Strong understanding of industry trends and demonstrated knowledge and proven ability to identify marketing opportunities
•Passion and open mind regarding music, pop culture and fashion trends
•Openness to handle tasks on nights and/or weekends (social posts, client emergencies)
•Knowledge of social advertising (Facebook / Twitter) and Google AdWords (YouTube)
