Sales Representative for Talk Show - We are seeking a highly polished and enthusiastic sales representative to lead sponsorship sales initiatives with the goal of driving significant new business revenue. This role will identify strategic prospects and partners and execute daily sales activity to increase sales.
Responsibilities
• Report to and work closely with EP
• Responsibility for maximizing revenue and sales opportunities based on sponsorship sales initiatives
• Prospect leads, cold call and build relationships;
• Identify and access decision makers
• Maintain a consultative sales approach with a strong closing dimension
• Have a strong and enabling attention to detail
• Be both strategic and tactical
• Effectively utilize internet and sales databases
• Ability to work with clients and identify opportunities to generate new deals
• Contribute individually, but also work in a team environment and partner with internal stakeholders
• Maximize profits and reach target revenue goals
• Grow partnerships at all levels of management within and outside of the company
• Exemplify flexibility to change direction rapidly as the situation or business initiatives, necessitates
Qualifications
• The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced, talented and dynamic in sales with a drive to excel
• At least 1 solid year of sales experience
• Strong background in sponsorship advertising and a proven ability to generate sales
• Knowledge of the Cannabis Industry preferred
• Outgoing, energetic self-starter with a passion
• Highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Very strong communications (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Advanced negotiating skills
• Bachelor's Degree
• Able to travel for business (up to 10%)
• Must be flexible with working nights and weekends
