We're a COMMERCIAL POST-PRODUCTION FACILITY in Santa Monica, and we're in need of a new RUNNER who eventually wants to be an EDITOR. We edit commercials and some features, and have agency clients in on a regular basis to work on these projects. This job is ideal for someone just starting out in the industry, who sees their future in editing or post-producing. This is the perfect environment to learn the ropes of the industry.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
-Setting up breakfast and lunch bars
-Maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
-Picking up/Delivering drives and other equipment in a timely manner
-Running errands to get food and snacks for the facility and anything clients may request
-Buying office supplies
-Cleaning up after clients and editors in the bays
-Helping clients with whatever they need (coffee, wifi password, an uber, a meal...)
-Helping out with whatever needs done around the facility
-Writing receipts for the errands you run and miles you accumulate
USEFUL SKILLS FOR THIS JOB
*A valid driver's license, registration and proof of insurance
*A good attitude
*Attention to detail
*PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF EDITING SOFTWARE (AVID, PREMIERE, FINAL CUT) IS A MAJOR PLUS
