Leading Entertainment Accounting Firm seeks an entry-level accountant/auditor for its White Plains, NY office. The position entails assisting the firm's royalty audit managers in conducting compliance examinations on behalf of our entertainment clients and other rights holders. Engagements performed at record companies, music and book publishers, merchandising companies and other licensees of trademarked product. Work is extremely detailed and analytical, including organization and manipulation of electronic data, maintenance and organization of files, drafting report schedules and text, and summarization of contracts. Some travel required.
Bachelor's degree required. Accounting, Finance or Mathematics major preferred, Systems or IT classes a plus. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel required. Entry level or 0 - 2 years experience. Candidate must be highly motivated, detail oriented and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must work well in a team environment.
