Key Responsibilities:
• Provide overall assistance to Associate Producers and Producers in all stages of production including involvement in all show day
procedures.
• Book and pitch guests to appear on show.
• Contribute ideas for show/topic ideas.
• Perform research on potential show topics and/or guests.
• Gather production elements for segments.
• Work with guests who will appear on the show including: coordinating and arranging travel, obtaining guest and elemental release
forms, and briefing guests.
• Compile, print and distribute production packages.
• Perform any other duties assigned by producers.
Qualifications:
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a larger team.
• Ability to conceptualize ideas in a creative, non-traditional way.
• Able to work long hours, nights, weekends, etc. as needed.
• Capable of meeting strict deadlines and handling various responsibilities and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the internet
• Bachelor degree (Communications, TV/Film Production, or related field of study preferred).
• Television internship strongly preferred.
• Must be willing to work in Chicago, Illinois.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
