We are a commercial/music video/digital production company located in Culver City, looking for a full-time Receptionist available to start immediately.
Must be energetic, outgoing, proactive, and have exceptional phone etiquette. Office experience is required and knowledge of the production process is a plus. This position requires the ability to handle a high volume of incoming calls, screening procedures, and the ability to work well under pressure. Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and a positive attitude is a must. This position is not for the faint of heart and not your typical ''9 to 5'' job. Some overtime will be required.
The Receptionist manages the front of house with minimal supervision. Duties include but not limited to:
• Answering, screening, and transferring incoming calls to appropriate staff and production teams while providing information as needed
• Greeting visitors and announcing them accordingly
• Receiving, sorting, distributing mail and preparing outgoing mail/packages
• Maintaining and coordinating conference room calendar and assigning guest parking
• Planning and ordering daily office lunch orders and maintaining detailed cost breakdowns allocating to appropriate job numbers
• Liaising with Executive Assistants to satisfy Executives' needs
• Collecting and filing office credit card receipts and transactions; completes purchase orders accordingly
• Ordering all office supplies
• Assisting in delegation of day-to-day tasks to Office Production Assistants
• Training Office Production Assistants in phone systems and etiquette
• Assisting Operations Manager as needed daily
