Leading boutique entertainment and lifestyle PR firm is seeking a JUNIOR DIGITAL PUBLICIST.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
-Can start ASAP
-Strong online media relationships
-Previous placements with online media
-
-Must have strong writing skills: experience writing pitches/press releases for approval
-Thrives in a fast paced working environment and be able to work on multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously.
-Must have excellent phone manner and a willingness to pitch media daily
-Must be well-versed in CISION POINT.
-Ability to contribute to creative pitches/campaigns for clients
-College degree required. Communications, Journalism, English, marketing, PR preferable.
-Strong computer skills and excellent proficiency in the following computer programs: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook/ strong familiarity with social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc).
-Able to commit to non-traditional work hours, as some projects will require over-time and evenings/weekends activities both in the office & off-site.
-Above all the applicant should be a team player with a positive ''can-do'' attitude who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get to work--no task is too big or too small.
