Fast paced animation studio and producer of award winning programming is in search of a Prop Builder to join their amazing team!
Job Description:
• Pull, refurbish, or fabricate a variety of sets for individual, miniature sketches varying from 1/8'' to 1/16'' scale.
• Clearly Interpret reference imagery from the art director, translating it visually into a practical set.
• Build, sculpt, paint, and kit bash flexibly and the ability to brainstorm creative ways to complete required tasks.
• Maintain a fast paced work schedule and complete build quotas.
• Organized, ability to clearly label builds with episode name and number for storage.
• Perform timely and effectively as requested by creative leads.
Requirements:
• Background in miniature scale prop making and building.
• Must have working knowledge of various shop tools (ie, table saw, band saw, belt sander, drill press, dremel etc.)
• Extensive knowledge of a wide variety of materials: fabric, lumber, styrene, silicone casting, adhesives, and kit-bash.
• Experience in high volume work output.
• Must be a team player and able to take direction from our leads.
