Boutique Marketing & Promotions Agency in Santa Monica is looking for a highly motivated, organized and outgoing Promotions/Marketing Coordinator. A qualified candidate MUST have a basic understanding of marketing and promotions, with familiarity in the execution of media promotions and sweepstakes campaigns. Being able to juggle multiple projects at once, while staying organized and self-motivated is important. Looking for a team player that is solution and results oriented, resourceful, and creative.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist General Manager and other internal personnel/depts. With administrative tasks as needed
• Assist departments with drafting proposals and solicitation materials for client and partnership opportunities
• Draft reports for clients and sales staff as assigned
• Manage the back-end logistics and fulfillment of all sweepstakes promotions/campaigns
• Communicate regularly with high-level executives, clients, vendors and internal staff on a daily basis
General Qualifications:
• MINIMUM 2-3 years of experience in marketing, promotions or entertainment related field
• Superb communication skills - written and verbal, as this position will requires interaction with both clients and partners
• Must be a creative thinker, fast learner, resourceful, and think outside the box
• Able to take direction and effectively execute tasks in a timely manner
• Candidate should be internet savvy and good at research
• Know how to take the initiative and work independently without a lot of hand-holding
• Be able to handle multiple projects at once
• Good at managing different personalities and maintain calm under pressure
Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must have a background in marketing, promotions, PR or entertainment related field
• Good copy writing, grammatical and editing skills
• Attention to detail is extremely important for this position
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and external clients, vendors, partners
• Candidate must be computer literate and have knowledge and experience in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Must have experience in preparing pitch proposal and pitching concepts
• Must have basic understanding of third party tie-ins
• TV, radio, retail production experience desirable
• Must be detailed-oriented and work well in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines and over-deliver for clients
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle miscellaneous projects as assigned
• A candidate that can hit the ground running is a BIG plus
