All of the below are just ideas. We're mainly looking for someone who is highly organized and bilingual - Japanese / English.
Project Manager will:
• Act as a link between clients in Japan and studio, and be responsible for liaising between the client, vendors and internal departments to support projects from inception to delivery.
• Liaise closely with clients and maintain day-to-day communication internally and externally.
• Coordinate all details of project, timeline, assets, and other details.
• Ensure that your projects are delivered on time and on budget and that they are error-free.
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively with clients in Japan and other places to identify needs and evaluate solutions
• Collaborate with internal team to create and execute strategic project work plans, status reports and time-lines
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project
• Ensure that all assets and resources are identified and available
• Review deliverables prepared by internal teams before passing to Client
• Drive project delivery through effective use of internal and external communications and enforce standards
• Sets and manages client expectations
• Continually seeks opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships
• Ensure that projects complete according to schedule, are within the defined scope
• Schedule and attend client and project meetings
• Keeps project teams well-informed of changes
• Effectively communicate relevant project information to teams and clients
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
• Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully

• Working knowledge of entertainment industry, video game, internet and TV industry in particular
• Highly personable and ambitious
• Possess great attitude, technology proficient & ability to adapt to a fast paced dynamically changing environment
• Self-starter who is able to effectively handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Strong organization and problem solving skills (yes, we listed this twice!)
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• 3-5 years account / client management experience are a plus.
