We are a full-service entertainment-marketing firm in Burbank, California seeking an experiential marketing Project Manager. This position is primarily responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short and long-term projects, which have a beginning, an end and specified deliverables.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Participates in department and company brainstorming sessions to develop experiential concepts to pitch for potential projects.
• Creates sales decks in Keynote or PowerPoint for project proposals.
• Prepares rough budget and ''scope-of-work'' contract for potential projects.
• Researches and sources vendors to acquire quotes and pricing when necessary.
• Creates a detailed work-plan, which identifies and sequences activities needed to successfully complete a project.
• Develops a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates resources to the activities.
• Recruits, interviews and manages staff and Tour Managers with appropriate skills for the project activities.
• Ensures that all project staff receive appropriate orientation and project instructions, scripts and guidelines.
• Oversees creative design process for all branded elements, including communicating with the design team, acquiring client approvals on mockups, sending final print-ready files to vendors, and managing the logistical and transportation requirements for the finished elements.
• Monitors the progress of the project and makes adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
• Ensures that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
• Manages all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures, and ensures that all financial records for the project are up to date.
• Prepares event recaps and reports to send to clients at the conclusion of a project.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training/ or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize to manage multiple conflicting deadlines and projects.
• Extremely organized and detail oriented.
• Proficient in using MAC or PC computers, as well as the following programs - Keynote, Numbers, Pages, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
Salary is commensurate with experience.
